ZEST HOLIDAYS TERMS AND CONDITIONS POLICY

  1. Strictly No Rental of accommodation to persons under 21 unless accompanied by two adults.
     
  2. As we are a Holiday Rental Agency, a non-refundable Admin Fee of R400 is charged per unit on each and every reservation.
     
  3. A refundable Breakages Deposit of R300 is charged and will be re-funded into your bank account within 10 days of your departure if there are no losses or breakages.
     
  4. All bookings must be fully paid in advance no less than one (1) week prior to occupation. 50% of the total rental to be paid upon reservation and the balance one week prior to arrival.
     
  5. In the event of a cancellation, your deposit will only be refunded if another reservation is made by other guests for the same period.
     
  6. No extra guests allowed over and above the number of beds in the apartment. If extra guests are found in the units, eviction will take place.
     
  7. No smoking allowed inside units.
     
  8. No pets allowed.
     
  9. The volume of music and noise is to be kept to a reasonable level at all times. None of our accommodation is suitable for guests who intend playing loud music, playing boisterous and noisy games or holding parties of any sort.  If a disturbance is caused that leads to guests and permanent tenants complaining, the Lessee may be evicted and will forfeit the rental paid.
     
  10. Time of arrival – strictly after 2 pm. Time of departure – strictly before 10 am

Zest Holidays is a business in the
holiday rental agency industry that markets Tourism.

RETURN AND REFUNDS POLICY
The provision of goods and services by Zest Holidays is subject to availability. Deposits are ony refunded if the reservation is replaced by another client and entirety, the admission fee is not refundable.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY

Zest Holidays shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

PAYMNET OPTIONS ACCEPTED
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Zest Holidays bank account, the details of which will be provided on request

CREDIT CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Zest Holidays via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa.  PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website.
 

CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPERATE FROM CARD DETAILS
Customer details will be stored by Zest Holidays separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site.  For more detail on PayGate refer to

MERCHANT OUTLET COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa.  Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

RESPONSIBILITY
Zest Holidays takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including the booking and services of accommodation sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

COUNTRY OF DOMICILE

This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Zest Holidays chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.

VARIATION
Zest Holidays may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

COMPANY INFORMATION
This website is run by Zest Holidays (close corporation) based in South Africa trading as Zest Holidays cc and with registration number 2002/071824/23 Member - Ian Van Der Walt.

RESERVATIONS
Are made payable to Zest Holidays and are in South African Rand (ZAR) these may fluctuate due to changes in the exchange rate. Check-in time is from after 14h00 and check-out time is by 10h00 unless prior arrangement has been made.

GUARANTEE/ PAYMENT POLICY
Should we receive no response from you within 7 days of your reservation. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Refunds payable are at the sole discretion of Zest Holidays. All returns / refunds will be looked into and the cardholder to make contact with Zest Holidays.
 
NO-SHOW POLICY
A no-show is the non-arrival of a GUEST without notification in writing by fax or email to Zest Holidays. If your reservation was guaranteed by a charge to your credit card at the time of the reservation, this monies payable to Zest Holidays and any dispute thereof may be looked into in accordance with the appropriate refund policies.

Customer information will be confidential at all times and will not be shared without your express permission.
